Louisiana native and country music star Lainey Wilson took home the award for “Country Song of the Year” with her hit track “Heart Like a Truck” at the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards.
The ceremony was held at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles on Mon., April 1.
During yellow carpet interviews on iHeartRadio’s livestream of the event, Wilson called the win “huge.”
“Just being here is huge,” the Baskin native said.
Wilson was also nominated for Country Artist of the Year, which was awarded to Jelly Roll, with whom she later performed “Save Me” to a standing ovation.
